Family Dinner

It took us almost 9 months however we had our first family dinner out at a resturant. We had some errands to run today and before we began Adam made a comment that if everyone was good we could go to Outback!! Well, once he said that there was no turning back. :) All I have to say is...Cheesy Fries!! So the kids were great through our errands and we headed to dinner. Both kids actually feel asleep on the way so that was good since we knew they would be in a good mood during dinner. When we got there Samantha was so tired that we laid her down in the booth and she slept through most of dinner. Corbin was really well behaved until he was done with his dinner then he began to get a little restless. Half way through dinner Adam and I realized this was our first dinner out together as the four of us. The ironic thing is is that Outback was the first resturant that we took Corbin too also!

Miller Christmas

Today we headed over to Adam's Aunt Marta's and Uncle Bobby's house for one of my favorite Christmas traditions. Every year they make this amazing meal for the whole family as thier Christmas gift the to whole family. It consists of Prime Rib, Shrimp, appitizers, sides and dessert! Ah, it is SO GOOD!!

We also like to get together with everyone because we do not get a chance to see Teresa and Kevin too often. I just love the holidays when all the family comes together. As you can see Corbin also had a great time. Corbin and Uncle Kevin became fast friends and played together A LOT.

Samantha also did her fair share of entertaining and getting entertained. Here is cousin Casey doing his duty. At one point Samantha was having such a good time that I actually forgot about her for about 10 minutes! It was not until she let out a little sound that I realized I did not know who had her. So it was a nice visit too for Adam and I because the kids were being entertained and we could actually sit and talk to adults!!

Both Samantha and Corbin fell asleep as soon as we got them in the car. It was a wonderful day.

Can't wait to do it again next year!

Happy Birthday Jeff

Today was my little, I mean younger, brother's birthday. I am told I cannot call him "little" since he is 6'7"! :) Mom came down around 4:00 and Jeff showed up around 4:30. He loves pizza from a place called Nancy's pizza. It is Chicago Deep Dish style and it is good. So we ordered some pizza and had a good dinner. After dinner we had some Dairy Queen ice cream cake. I love thier ice cream cakes as does everyone in my family so we always have one. Jeff and Adam topped off the night by playing some video games. Mom had to leave shortly after cake since she had to get back home and go to work the next day. It was a short and sweet family birthday celebration. I am sure Jeff continued the party somewhere else. :)

Happy Birthday Jeff, We love you and wish you a terrific year!

Jones Christmas

On Tuesday we headed up to Kokomo to have Christmas with Oma, Papa, Travis, Katie, Nadia, Karina and Nolan. We arrived around 10:30 and once again opened lots of presents! Corbin got some great gifts. He got a dinosaur, a dragon and a sword that he loves. It was a wonderful day with once again some great food. Irenda made some Chicken and Noodles that were yummy. I love it when we get all the cousins together because they play so great together that we do not even have to watch them most of the time! We stayed until about 5:00 that is when the kids had hit thier limit and headed home. What a wonderful Day. I love spending time with family!

Corbin got this Solider outfit from Oma and he was so excited that he looked liked Pa!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas Everyone! As you can tell we were very good this year! :) My Mom came down Christmas Eve around 2:00 and Jeff came over around 4:00. Corbin and Adam went outside to leave some food for the reindeer.

After that we got the kids ready and headed into church for their Children's Service. It was a great service and it was nice because everyone had thier kids there so if Corbin or Samantha made noise it was no big deal. After church we came back home for a good dinner of lasagna. After dinner Corbin got to open one present. He was excited but as soon as he opened it he wanted to open all of them! After he played for a bit we left out some cookies for Santa then it was time to go take a bath. It was so easy to put him down for the night. He was for sure that he was going to hear Santa on the roof. Christmas morning Corbin woke up at 6:00!! Mom kept him busy for about twenty minutes then there was just no holding him upstairs any longer. When he came downstairs and saw that Santa had actually brought him what he asked for he was just stunned. He had a cute little smile on his face it was priceless. It took us over 3 hours to open all of our presents! It was not because we were taking time to play with everything we just had that many presents. The only time we did take a break was when my Dad called. It was a little rough because it reminded us that he was not here, but it was not as bad as I thought it would be. However, he will be home soon!

Corbin's favorite gifts were this motorcycle that Grandma gave him. It actually goes! The other was a Tool Set and a gun (he calls it his Red Ryder BB Gun) that Santa brought him.

After we had breakfast we all got ready to head up to Muncie to my Aunt house to have Christmas dinner with my Mom's side of the family. It was so nice to be around family and I am glad that everyone lives so close.

As you can tell the boys had a big day and had to take a break!
